Nicole will track northwest across Florida today before lifting northeast towards Georgia and the Carolinas late tonight into Friday.

Nicole’s track has shifted slightly farther west. Continued small adjustments to the track could change the impacts we see locally.

Deep tropical moisture associated with Nicole should lead to 3-4.5 inches of rainfall along the Blue Ridge Escarpment.

Gusty winds are expected ahead of Nicole today into tonight and will continue into Friday as Nicole tracks overhead.

Isolated brief and weak tornadoes are possible Friday, mainly for the eastern half of the forecast area. Tornado threat looks best for locations along and east of the I-77 corridor.
